Free Student License Options
Students who are enrolled to college or university are eligible to receive a FREE license for Astah UML.
Student licenses are for a single student’s personal use only. Instructors and educational institutions should purchase an academic faculty license.
Free Student License FAQs
Can I renew my Free Student License?
Yes, you can renew your license as long as you are a student.
We provide an annual license for Astah edition every year that expires in August each year.
So please resubmit from the form above for a renewal.
Can I use a student license on multiple machines?
Yes as long as you are the only person who uses the license.
Download and install Astah UML in another machine and set up the free student license file (.xml) you already have.
Can I let my students use Free Student License in my class?
No. Astah Student License is limited to a student’s personal use. They cannot be installed on shared machines in classrooms or labs. To use Astah in classrooms, you need to purchase Astah Faculty Site License.

Can Free student license users get support?
As noted in EULA [Article 7 – Special Agreement], we do not provide support service to students with Free Student Licenses. When any error happens, please look for solutions on Bug Info page.
